The Best Antioxidant there is.

One of the most common causes of many of our chronic diseases is inflammation and the damaging affects of free radicals on the body.

Free radicals are naturally occurring in the body and are made up of positively charged molecules that search for free electrons to become stable. They often do this by stripping these electrons away from pathinogens and damaged tissue thus helping the body to heal.

This is our inflammatory response and, once their work is done and the body response winds down, these free radicals should be neutralised by antioxidants.

Weathering the Storms

Many of the physical symptoms we experience at the moment are as a result of the major energy shifts that are occurring around us. For instance we have recently had a major solar storm. Scientists have been concerned that such storms could cause major disruption to our electrical systems and yet every atom of our bodies contains electrons which is what electricity is made of.

If a solar storm can effect our electrical systems it can effect us.

So what to do? We don't have to be at the mercy of these shifts.

What is Healing?

Healing is not about believing that you are sick or broken, it is about accepting your wholeness - your amazing magnificence as a co-creator with the Universe, powerful and beautiful, as radiant as the stars. Accepting it, being it and sharing it with the world.

Anything that seems to prevent you doing this is just a cloud across your sun. Perhaps you can blow it away yourself, maybe you need the help of another to do it, but don't make that cloud your reality.

The Best Internal Workout There Is

The best internal workout you can give yourself is good breathing.

In through the nose expanding and filling the belly, then the chest right up to the shoulders. Then breathing out and reversing the process emptying the belly last.

When you do this you fill your whole lungs and you expand your diaphragm properly. You can feel it working all the muscles of your torso from inside - all those core muscles get stretched and worked. When the diaphragm is worked properly like this is massages all the internal organs and helps to pump your lymph which is important for fighting infection.

Mind Your Language

Language has a profound effect on our bodies, right down to the level of our DNA. The words we use can encourage our energy to flow and boost our confidence or they can do the opposite.

For example how often do you use the word try? Have you ever actually succeeded in something you've 'tried' to do? As Yoda so eloquently puts it, 'Do or not do, there is no try.'

The body does not understand 'try' because it can only do or not do.

Tell yourself that you are trying to do something and observe how that feels in your body.

Air and Water

Our two best health maintenance tools are absolutely free. Without them we won't live long and yet we take them for granted and even forget about them.

Good breathing and drinking water.

When we breathe properly our whole body is involved. As the lungs expand fully our internal organs are massaged and we experience an inner stretch which exercises our muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. Our spine also gets a good stretch and the rhythm of breathing in and out helps pump our cerebral spinal fluid and lymph.
